5 Uncapped Indian Players were Surprisingly Unsold: Ipl Mini Auction 2022-23

80 players were bought by 10 teams from a total pool of 405 cricketers during the one-day mini-auction process. 51 Indians were sold in the auction while 29 overseas players got picked. Some of the big names of the T20 format went unsold in the auction. Sam Curran became the most expensive player in the history of the IPL auction after Punjab Kings spent ₹18.5 crores to get the all-rounder. Australian all-rounder Cameron Green went for ₹17.5 crores to Mumbai Indians. Chennai Super Kings won the bid of Ben Stokes for ₹16.25 crore.
