Sam Curran became the most expensive player in the history of the IPL auction after Punjab Kings spent ₹18.5 crores to get the all-rounder. Australian all-rounder Cameron Green went for ₹17.5 crores to Mumbai Indians. Chennai Super Kings won the bid of Ben Stokes for ₹16.25 crore.
