Ronaldo, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, heads to the Saudi Arab after a painful year that saw him relegated to the Portugal bench and sudden exit by Manchester United. Ronaldo has a contract that runs until 2025 and is reportedly worth more than 200 million euros per year. Al Nassr, who are nine-time winners of the Saudi Pro League, announced the deal as “history in the making”. Ronaldo said: “I’m thrilled for a new experience in a different league and a different country, the vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring.”
