Uzbekistan extended their lead with Sergeev scoring in the 18th minute, making it 2-0. In extra time of the first half, Nasrullaev added another goal, ending the first half with Uzbekistan leading 3-0. Despite a great first half, Uzbekistan didn’t score in the second half, and India couldn’t find the net either. The match ended with Uzbekistan securing a 3-0 victory, leaving India with a challenging path ahead in the AFC Asian Cup.
