India’s Heartbreaking Exit from Asia Cup | Shocking for Fans

In yesterday’s AFC Asian Cup 2024, India faced Uzbekistan in their second match of the tournament. Unfortunately, India lost by 3-0, shattering their hopes in the competition. The game took place at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium in Al Rayyan at 8 PM IST.

From the start, Uzbekistan dominated possession and scored early with Fayzullaev finding the net in just four minutes. Despite India’s efforts, they trailed 1-0. A free-kick opportunity for India in the 8th minute was missed by captain Sunil Chhetri, and goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu made a crucial save in the 9th minute.

Uzbekistan extended their lead with Sergeev scoring in the 18th minute, making it 2-0. In extra time of the first half, Nasrullaev added another goal, ending the first half with Uzbekistan leading 3-0. Despite a great first half, Uzbekistan didn’t score in the second half, and India couldn’t find the net either. The match ended with Uzbekistan securing a 3-0 victory, leaving India with a challenging path ahead in the AFC Asian Cup.
